I have a point & shoot Canon PowerShot A620 that's several years old, and thanks to those of you who left comments and to Denzil (one of my students) I have figured out to take better food photos! All I needed to do was use the MF (flower) setting and turn off the flash. Simple! Now, I'll have to do most of my cooking during the day in order to utilize natural light.
Anyway, I was playing around with my camera and took some pics of random foods I had on the counter:
Beautiful! Love the orange juice drops. The egg and bacon close-up made me hungry!
Great photos! I will have to try that option with my camera. I was wondering the same thing. Some photos turn out well, others, not so much.
